HUNT THE BOEING-a closer look

Remembering 911.....

Pentagon
Hunt the Boeing! And test your perceptions!

As everyone knows, on 11 September, less than an hour after the attack on the World Trade Centre, an airplane collided with the Pentagon. The Associated Press first reported that a booby-trapped truck had caused the explosion. The Pentagon quickly denied this. The official US government version of events still holds. Here's a little game for you: Take a look at these photographs and try to find evidence to corroborate the official version. It's up to you to Hunt the Boeing!

Question No.1

Image : Space Imaging

Image : U.S. Department of Defense

The first satellite image shows the section of the building that was hit by the Boeing. In the image below, the second ring of the building is also visible. It is clear that the aircraft only hit the first ring. The four interior rings remain intact. They were only fire-damaged after the initial explosion.

Can you explain how a Boeing 757-200, weighing nearly 100 tons and travelling at a minimum speed of 250 miles an hour* only damaged the outside of the Pentagon?

*250 mph when landing, 600 mph in flight.

Question No.2

Image : U.S. Marine Corps, Cpl. Jason Ingersoll

Image : U.S. Army

The two photographs in question 2 show the building just after the attack. We may observe that the aircraft only hit the ground floor. The four upper floors collapsed towards 10.10 am. The building is 26 yards high.

Can you explain how a Boeing 14.9 yards high, 51.7 yards long, with a wingspan of 41.6 yards and a cockpit 3.8 yards high, could crash into just the ground floor of this building?

Question No.3

Image : U.S. Army

The photograph above shows the lawn in front of the damaged building.

You'll remember that the aircraft only hit the ground floor of the

Pentagon's first ring. Can you find debris of a Boeing 757-200 in this

photograph?

Question no.4

The photograph in question 4 shows a truck pouring sand over the lawn of the Pentagon. Behind it a bulldozer is seen spreading gravel over the turf.

Can you explain why the Defence Secretary deemed it necessary to sand over the lawn, which was otherwise undamaged after the attack?

Question No.5

Image : Space Imaging

Image : U.S. Department of Defense, Sgt. Rudisill

The photographs in Question 5 show representations of a Boeing 757-200 superimposed on the section of the building that was hit.

Can you explain what happened to the wings of the aircraft and why they caused no damage?

Question No.6

When asked by a journalist: "Is there anything left of the aircraft at all?"

"First of all, the question about the aircraft, there are some small pieces of aircraft visible from the interior during this fire-fighting operation I'm talking about, but not large sections. In other words, there's no fuselage sections and that sort of thing." " You know, I'd rather not comment on that. We have a lot of eyewitnesses that can give you better information about what actually happened with the aircraft as it approached. So we don't know. I don't know."

When asked by a journalist: "Where is the jet fuel?"
"We have what we believe is a puddle right there that the -- what we believe is to be the nose of the aircraft. So -"

The quotations in Question 6 correspond to statements made by Arlington County Fire Chief, Ed Plaugher, at a press conference held by Assistant Defence Secretary, Victoria Clarke, on 12 September 2001, at the Pentagon.

Can you explain why the County Fire Chief could not tell reporters where the aircraft was?

Question No.7

Images : U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Jason Ingersoll 1 et 2

The two photographs in question 7 were taken just after the attack. They show the precise spot on the outer ring where the Boeing struck.

Can you find the aircraft's point of impact?

(To view the photos in detail, download these enlargements: 1 and 2)

How did you do?

Did you find the Boeing? Can you still defend the official version of events?
> Well done! Remember to get in touch with master of illusion, David Copperfield. He'll be glad to hear from you!

You found the official version lacking in something (like a Boeing, for example):
> If you begin to question whether a Boeing really did crash on the Pentagon then, no doubt, you'll be wondering what happened to the aircraft that disappeared. You will probably ask yourself why the US government even told you this story in the first place and you'll start asking yourself lots of other questions besides. Don't worry! This is perfectly normal!

911 Ripple Effect-new dvd overview

The “911 Ripple Effect” Has Begun
Media Complacency, Explosions, External Equipment, And More…
A Synopsis of 9/11 Ripple Effect, by Debbie Lewis

The long awaited follow-up to the controversial documentary “911 In Plane Site” is now available globally. With the release of “911 Ripple Effect” comes new information and analyses put forth by noted eyewitnesses, former military, pilots and independent researchers. As more and more people are realizing the inconsistencies in the media version of the happenings on September 11, 2001, William Lewis and Dave vonKleist, the documentary’s producers, fervently hope to light a proverbial fire under the population so that they will rise up and demand a new, independent investigation both for the victims of September 11th, but most importantly for the survivors.

With the use of on-the-street interviews, each segment is introduced as citizens of “Any town USA” tell what they heard and saw as that catastrophic day in our history unfolded. You know the stories, but what did we REALLY see?

“911 Ripple Effect” presents evidence and information about images shown to the world that were described to us by the media, but the twist is, these very images do not support the “official” story the media and government continue to tell. Even these stories have changed to fit the terrorist-riddled version of tragedy in the United States. VonKleist and Lewis provide some fairly damning reports, especially by Pentagon Correspondent Jamie McIntyre of CNN, Marc Birnbach of FOX News, and a reporter for the BBC, that are in direct conflict with the “official” versions. McIntyre, nearly five years later, is heard trying to explain away statements he made during live, first coverage broadcasts, Birnbach disappeared from FOX News for several years, and has now returned, and the BBC reported the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 nearly twenty minutes earlier than the actual collapse.

WTC Survivor William Rodriguez

William Rodriguez, World Trade Center survivor and eyewitness, tried to do his civic duty by contacting the FBI with what he knew. He told of a massive explosion in the sub-basement that “pushed us upwards.” Rodriguez was one of 14 witnesses to this explosion, and as he started to discuss what was going on with others present that day, there was another explosion above, a plane crashing into the building. His comments were misrepresented by an ABC affiliate to make Rodriguez appear to be describing the explosion caused by the plane impacting with the upper floors of One World Trade Center, when in fact, he was unmistakably describing a separate basement explosion prior to the plane impact. He kept quiet; believing the information was under investigation, only to find it had been mysteriously deleted from the 9/11 Commission Report.

There are several indications that the planes that slammed into the World Trade Center Buildings were not commercial airliners at all. That is what Birnbach, as well as witnesses on the ground, said during live, first coverage.

In captured images, both video and photographs, of U.A. Flight #175, there appears to be some type of “external piece of equipment” attached to the underbelly, as well as a bright anomalous flash preceding the crash. Independent researcher Phil Jayhan exposed this standout piece of evidence almost four years ago, and the Lewis/vonKleist team ran with it; revealing it in their first documentary “911 In Plane Site.” “Ripple Effect” shares interviews with former military, pilots and other independent researchers asking questions and conducting an extensive analysis of this massive three-dimensional “appendage” that did not belong on a commercial flight. However, Lieutenant Colonel John Marks of Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri gives viewers an on camera show-and-tell of what the U.S. military calls a “rocket pod,” which makes one wonder if this could be the “extra equipment.”

Jayhan, vonKleist and Lewis have taken a beating over “the flash and the pod,” but have stuck to the evidence, much to the chagrin of certain individuals involved with the 911 Truth Movement, many of whom advocate for the exclusion of certain key pieces of evidence, much like the omissions of the 911 Commission Report. However, the evidence stands on it’s own and is supported in this new documentary by interviews with Col. George Nelson, Major Glen MacDonald, Glen Stanish, Jim Fetzer, and others.

Jim Marrs discusses the similarities of the official story to that of the Northwoods Document of 1962. This document was planned by the then Joint Chiefs of Staff in an effort to gain the manipulated support of the United States population in a war against Cuba. Never enacted, however, the similarities in the plan to those of the tragedy surrounding 9/11 are not lost to those who have read the document.

The events centering around the “Twin Towers” were not the only anomalies that day. The “plane” that crashed into the Pentagon and the devastation there is in question, as well.

The external “E-ring” struck at the Pentagon withstood the plane crash; “E-ring” windows were in tact, for nearly thirty minutes before it collapsed. No identifiable pieces of plane were seen cluttering the lawn. What’s so odd is that a plane of that size would leave no large pieces of wreckage, no wing parts, no tail section, no plane seats, no passenger luggage, nothing of the sort, yet we were told that a Boeing 757 hit the Pentagon. The live, first coverage at the Pentagon does not bear out the official story there, either.

Jamie McIntyre reported, live, that he saw no large pieces of plane anywhere at the site, yet, last year he says he was there and photographed plane pieces. “Ripple Effect” puts forth the audio evidence for your discernment, as well as other inconsistencies surrounding the events at the Pentagon.
What happened at Shanksville, PA is also in question. If a plane had crashed in the field, as was reported, the wreckage would have been “contained.” However, the Shanksville wreckage was spread for miles, and there was a huge crater left behind, indicating that it was not a “simple” plane crash. Witnesses, there, heard what sounded like a “missile,” and as reported, most pieces of the plane wreckage recovered could be held in your hands.

And what about the “master-mind” behind the attacks in question? Circulating the Internet last year was a very surprising e-mail by independent researcher Paul Sheridan that revealed that the FBI was not looking for bin Laden in regards to this particular terrorist attack. The Muckraker Report did a follow-up article, calling FBI Agent Rex Tomb to verify this finding. Tomb revealed that, indeed, there was not enough evidence for the FBI to add the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 to bin Laden’s “wanted poster.”

These discrepancies, and many others, are presented in a viewer-friendly documentary that should be a wake-up call to the world. The end of the film calls us all to take action, to make a stand, wake up and save our nation. With all the evidence provided in this new documentary, one has to see just how much the media and government version simply does not add up, yet we are still being spoon fed the same old story, and expected to believe it. Lewis, vonKleist, and many others have more questions and are looking for the answers. We should all take note and make our own inquiries. Get active, get up off the couch and demand the truth be told at once. If we do not take charge of our own future, who will?

How to unlock locked windows XP

There is a way (despite Microsoft claims that there's NO way aside from reinstalling a fresh copy of XP) to log 0n to your Windows XP system if ever you've forgotten all your users account passwords and don't have any administrator account to enter the system.

The truth is you don't need to install expensive 3rd party software or don't even need to be an expert to enter your locked XP system. What you just need is your Windows XP installer disc and your locked system to have an optical drive (of course). This is very handy if you forgot your administrator password and don't have any access to other account with administrator rights or if you're friend have also forgot his password.

Here's what you'll do if ever you forgot all your User Account's password and you thought (including Microsoft) that you can no longer enter your System.

  1. Put the Windows XP installer disc into the optical drive (CD/DVD) and restart your PC.

  2. Press any key when prompted with "Press any key to boot from CD", then wait for the "Welcome to setup" screen to appear, just press enter.

  3. Then press F8 to agree on the license agreement.

  4. On the next screen, you will be prompted to repair or install a fresh copy of Windows XP. You just need to select the locked Windows XP installation you want to enter (If you've more than one Windows XP installed) and press "R".

  5. The system will then reboot after setup checked the disk and copied setup files (Just wait for the system to reboot). And when it reboots, don't press any key when prompted to "Press any key to boot from CD".

  6. The setup will be automatically start the setup process. This is the most important steps, you need to wait for the setup to install the devices. Press the combination of SHIFT+F10 when you see the words "Installing Devices" at the bottom of the shown remaining minutes of the setup to finish.

  7. After that, a command console will be open, where in you need to type "NUSRMGR.CPL" (Without the quotes).

  8. You will be then given access to the User Account window similar to the control panel where you will delete or edit your forgotten password. Choose remove if you need to enter the system without entering password or edit if you want to change your forgotten password.

  9. After you delete or edit your account password, close the command windows and let the setup to finish. (You will also be needing to enter the XP product key if prompted)

  10. When setup is finished, system will reboot and you'll be automatically enter your system if you choose to delete the password or need to enter your new password if you just edit your forgotten password.

  11. That's all! You now have entered your locked Windows XP system.tnx to hezron m from rcv

What is C4?

Everybody is talking about c4-gloritta blast is alledgedly cause by a c4 explosion. What is C4, let us find out what it is....

Twenty years ago, most people didn't have any idea what C-4 was. Recently, it has become an all-too-familiar term, popping up in newspapers and on television all the time. In October 2000, terrorists used C-4 to attack the U.S.S. Cole, killing 17 sailors. In 1996, terrorists used C-4 to blow up the Khobar Towers U.S. military housing complex in Saudi Arabia. In December 2001, a man smuggled similar material, hidden in his shoes, onto a commercial airliner. C-4 has also been used in many of the Palestinian suicide bombings in Israel and the Israeli-occupied territories. In this article, we'll find out what this powerful material is and see how it can wreak such destruction.

C-4, or composition 4, is one variety of plastic explosive. The basic idea of plastic explosives, also called plastic bonded explosives (PBX), is to combine explosive chemicals with a plastic binder material. The binder has two important jobs:

  • It coats the explosive material, so it's less sensitive to shock and heat. This makes it relatively safe to handle the explosive.
  • It makes the explosive material highly malleable. You can mold it into different shapes to change the direction of the explosion.

C-4 Ingredients
  • RDX - 91 percent
  • Di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate - 5.3 percent
  • Polyisobutylene - 2.1 percent
  • Motor oil - 1.6 percent

The explosive material in C-4 is cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine (C3H6N6O6), commonly called RDX (which stands for "royal demolition explosive" or "research development explosive"). The additive material is made up of polyisobutylene, the binder, and di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate, the plasticizer (the element that makes the material malleable). It also contains a small amount of motor oil and some 2, 3-dimethyl-2, 3-dinitrobutane (DMDNB), which functions as a chemical marker for security forces.

To make C-4 blocks, explosives manufacturers take RDX in powder form and mix it with water to form a slurry. They then add the binder material, dissolved in a solvent, and mix the materials with an agitator. They remove the solvent through distillation, and remove the water through drying and filtering. The result is a relatively stable, solid explosive with a consistency similar to modelling clay.

Just as with other explosives, you need to apply some energy to C-4 to kick off the chemical reaction. Because of the stabilizer elements, it takes a considerable shock to set off this reaction; lighting the C-4 with a match will just make it burn slowly, like a piece of wood (in Vietnam, soldiers actually burned C-4 as an improvised cooking fire). Even shooting the explosive with a rifle won't trigger the reaction. Only a detonator, or blasting cap will do the job properly.

A detonator is just a smaller explosive that's relatively easy to set off. An electrical detonator, for example, uses a brief charge to set off a small amount of explosive material. When somebody triggers the detonator (by transmitting the charge through detonator cord to a blasting cap, for example), the explosion applies a powerful shock that triggers the C-4 explosive material.

When the chemical reaction begins, the C-4 decomposes to release a variety of gases (notably, nitrogen and carbon oxides). The gases initially expand at about 26,400 feet per second (8,050 meters per second), applying a huge amount of force to everything in the surrounding area. At this expansion rate, it is totally impossible to outrun the explosion like they do in dozens of action movies. To the observer, the explosion is nearly instantaneous -- one second, everything's normal, and the next it's totally destroyed.

The explosion actually has two phases. The initial expansion inflicts most of the damage. It also creates a very low-pressure area around the explosion's origin -- the gases are moving outward so rapidly that they suck most of the gas out from the "middle" of the explosion. After the outward blast, gases rush back in to the partial vacuum, creating a second, less-destructive inward energy wave.

A small amount of C-4 packs a pretty big punch. Less than a pound of C-4 could potentially kill several people, and several military issue M112 blocks of C-4, weighing about 1.25 pounds (half a kilogram) each, could potentially demolish a truck. Demolition experts typically use a good amount of C-4 in order to do a job properly. To take out one 8-inch (20.3-centimeter) square steel beam, for example, they would probably use 8 to 10 pounds (3.6 to 4.5 kilograms) of C-4.

People apply C-4's explosive power toward all kinds of destruction. One common application is military demolition -- soldiers pack it into cracks and crevices to blow up heavy walls. It has also been widely used as an anti-personnel weapon, in battle and in terrorist attacks. In Vietnam, for example, soldiers used a number of C-4-based bombs and grenades. One notable weapon, the claymore mine, consisted of a C-4 block with several embedded ball bearings. When the C-4 was detonated, the ball bearings became deadly flying shrapnel (this sort of weapon was also featured in the movie Swordfish).

Unfortunately, C-4 will keep making headlines for years to come. Because of its stability and sheer destructive power, C-4 has attracted the attention of terrorists and guerilla fighters all over the world. A small amount of C-4 can do a lot of damage, and it's fairly easy to smuggle the explosive past light security forces. The U.S. military is the primary manufacturer of C-4, and it tightly guards its supply, but there are a number of other sources for similar explosive material (including Iran, which has a history of conflict with the United States). As long as it is readily accessible, C-4 will continue to be a primary weapon in the terrorist arsenal.

Wonders of BANANA

This is interesting. After Reading this, you'll never look at a banana in the same way again.

Bananas . Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber, a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression : According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS : Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia : High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure : This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect to beat blood pressure.
So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke

Brain Power : 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Constipation : High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help
restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers : One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn : Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness : Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Mosquito bites : Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves : Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system. Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two
hours to keep levels steady

Ulcers : The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal
disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.
Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature. Seasonal = Affective Disorder (SAD) : Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan. Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6,B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal. Stress : Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be balanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack. Strokes : According to research in "The New England Journal of Medicine,"eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%! Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape! So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"

KINDNESS PAY

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness." He said... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.

Dressed in his doctor's gown he we nt in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room.

She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught; her attention on the side as She read these words.....

This is what True Love is all about:

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 a.m., when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him look at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.

On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer' s Disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"

He smiled as he patted my hand and said, "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

Will Power

An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work.

His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation.

Dear Son, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year.

I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.
Love, Dad

.........

Shortly, the old man received this telegram:

"For Heaven's sake, Dad,don't dig up the garden!! That's where I buried the GUNS!" At 4a.m.

the next morning,

A dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and a sked him what to do next.

His son's reply was: "Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It's the best I could do for you from here."

No sugar? Why pepsi max or diet coke still sweet?

"Bakit matamis pa rin ang pepsi max or diet coke kahit walang sugar?" The secret lies in this sweeteners..

The ingredient: acesulfame potassium—is combined with aspartame to provide the beverage's sweetness.

Acesulfame potassium is a calorie-free artificial sweetener, also known as Acesulfame K or Ace K (K being the symbol for potassium), and marketed under the trade names Sunett and Sweet One. It was discovered accidentally in 1967 by German chemist Karl Clauss at Hoechst AG (now Nutrinova).[1] Chemically, acesulfame potassium is the potassium salt of 6-methyl-1,2,3- oxathiazine-4(3H)-one 2,2-dioxide. It is a white crystalline powder with molecular formula C4H4KNO4S and a molecular weight of 201.24.
Acesulfame K is 180-200 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar), as sweet as aspartame, about half as sweet as saccharin, and one-quarter the sweetness of sucralose. Like saccharin, it has a slightly bitter aftertaste, especially at high concentrations. Kraft Foods has patented the use of sodium ferulate to mask acesulfame's aftertaste.[3] Alternatively, acesulfame K is often blended with other sweeteners (usually sucralose or aspartame). These blends are reputed to give a more sugar-like taste where each sweetener masks the other's aftertaste, and/or exhibit a synergistic effect wherein the blend is sweeter than its components.

Aspartame is the name for an artificial, non-saccharide sweetener,This sweetener is marketed under a number of trademark names, including Equal, NutraSweet, Canderel, and is an ingredient of approximately 6,000 consumer foods and beverages sold worldwide. It is commonly used in diet soft drinks, and is often provided as a table condiment. It is also used in some brands of chewable vitamin supplements and common in many sugar-free chewing gums. However, aspartame is not always suitable for baking because it often breaks down when heated and loses much of its sweetness. Aspartame is also one of the sugar substitutes used by people with diabetes.

Linux Live CD

Why Use A Linux Live CD?

With the release of the Puppy Linux 3.0 last week, live CD is again the hot topic in the Internet. So why use a Live CD? What are the benefits of using it?

The first time that i read the news about the release of Puppy Linux 3.0, i immediately downloaded a .iso of it and burn it. And in a few seconds of booting, i am now in front of a Linux OS even without installing. And in a short time of using it, i already loved it.

There are lots of different Linux distro live CD out there, but Puppy Linux can run even on a slow machine like DamnSmallLinux (a.k.a. DSL). I have tried Puppy Linux on a machine with a 500MHz Celeron Processor and with only 128MB of ram but Puppy Linux run smoothly. I have surf the Internet and typed a document using abiword.

After using Puppy Linux, i have realized the importance of having a Live CD in hand. Here are some of my top reasons of using a Live CD.
  • Live CD can act as an alternative to your OS if ever it wont boot.
  • A computer can be use even without hard disk by using a live CD.
  • You can still use a very old computer.
  • No session of your computing can be saved.
  • You can use it even without installing.
  • It's totally free!

You, what are the benefits you get from using a Live CD?

MANNY PACQUIAO WINS!!

Despite lacking a fight-finishing arsenal, Manny Pacquiao again proved his skills can dominate a bout.

Blessed with superior hand and foot speed, Pacquiao never allowed Marco Antonio Barrera to mount a fight-altering attack and won a lopsided unanimous decision in their 12-round super-featherweight bout late Saturday in Las Vegas.

''I tried to give a good show tonight,'' Pacquiao said. ``I hope people liked it.''

Pacquiao (45-3-2) repeatedly frustrated Barrera throughout the bout with quick combinations to the head. Even when Barrera (63-6) landed a solid right to the head, Pacquiao often countered with a left.

Keeping Barrera on the defensive allowed Pacquiao to build a substantial advantage through the early and middle rounds. Barrera landed rights to Pacquiao's head, but the shots never had Pacquiao in trouble.

Pacquiao's dominance was confirmed by the scorecards from judges Jerry Roth and Glenn Trowbridge, each of whom had Pacquiao winning 118-109. Judge Tom Schrek had it 115-112 for Pacquiao.

''I was still careful in the fight because he is still a good fighter,'' said Pacquiao, who stopped Barrera in 11 rounds four years ago. ``He is not an easy opponent.''

Barrera, who spent nearly two years campaigning for Saturday's rematch, said he will retire.

''I trained hard for this fight and proved wrong the so-called experts who predicted he would finish me in three or four rounds,'' said Barrera, 33. ``I am happy because it's my last fight.''

Desperate Housewives Episode Racial Slur

ABC Studios has issued an apology to the Filipino people following an uproar over a controversial line delivered by Teri Hatcher’s character in this premiere episode of Desperate Housewives’ season 4, wherein medical schools in the Philippines were disparaged.
The apology says:
“The producers of ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ABC Studios offer our sincere apologies for any offense caused by the brief reference in the season premiere. As leaders in broadcast diversity, we are committed to presenting sensitive and respectful images of all communities featured in our programs.”
The controversial episode
desperate housewivesThe premiere episode of Season 4 was aired on Sept. 30, 2007, titled “Now You Know.”
Here is an excerpt o the episode recap on the Desperate Housewives official website:
Susan goes to see her doctor about her irregular periods and is informed he’s busy, would she mind being seen by his new partner? She agrees, but is taken aback when she realizes it’s Dr. Adam Mayfair, Catherine’s husband, whom she just met the day before. She reluctantly submits to an exam. He hints that she might be experiencing signs of menopause and wants her to take a blood test to be sure. She declares she’s not nearly old enough for that yet. That is, until she sees that he just graduated from med school 10 years ago, and she agrees to take the test.

The episode recap did not mention Susan’s reluctance to be seen by the doctor due to her doubts on his diploma, if they were from “some med school in the Philippines.”

video

In this video clip, the gynecologist tells her: “Listen, Susan, I know for a lot of women the word ‘menopause’ has negative connotations. You hear ‘ageing,’ ‘brittle bones,’ ‘loss of sexual desire.’ ”

To which Susan replies:

“OK, before we go any further, can I check these diplomas? Just to make sure they aren’t, like, from some med school in the Philippines?”
