Jason Ivler arrested at last by the NBI

With the arrest of Jason Ivler the so called "road rage killer", lots of improvement how to arrest a suspect should be considered by the NBI agents.
Here are some tips of mine how to improve their operational practices.
1. They should play special force game.Why? They will learn there how to use flash bomb to dis-orient the enemy and eventual arrest him without so much bullets spent, if disoriented suspect resist one shot one kill.
2. There should be a back up ambulance in every operation. To applied first aid to the wounded NBI agents and suspect also. In the video, they handle the suspects in untrained manner. They should have proper training on that, para "silang pulis (di naman lahat ng pulis) kung umaresto-ganging-e dapat mas maganda ang way nila ". Pag disarmed na ang suspects and wounded i think he can no longer be a treat. They should put him in stretchers instead. Imagine they put the suspect in their back up vehicles. He is suspect indeed but he has human rights also. We are no different to him when we act like him, no respect and consideration. Condemned the sin save the sinner..
3. Always backup operational perhiferals such as handcaps and strings and also pepper sprays. Pepper spray is better than ganging the suspects to subdue.
4. Always use stun gun-its non lethal- just in case it is hard to subdue non wounded suspect.
5. Always use Bullet proof vest, the wounded nbi agents my observation were not wearing bulletproof vest that`s why she is wounded in the chest.
6. Observe silence, plan well commanding agents should be the one only talkin and give instruction to prevent chaos. Dun sa video lahat ata sumusigaw sila kaya magulo..
7. Always bring megaphone, it may help.. Use megaphone to shout " Jason sumuko ka na!" put his mother in the megaphone and appeal to him to surrender. It was like in the pinoy movie but that might work.

These are my observation and tips and I knew they know better (NBI).

Google introduces Nexus One "Superphone"

Google introduced the Nexus One, an own-branded smartphone running a new version of the Android mobile operating system.

The handset is the first to run on Android 2.1, a version of the operating system that goes under the code-name 'Flan'. This iteration of the Linux-based operating system offers graphical enhancements over its predecessors, such as animated wallpapers and refined icons.The new version of Android also offers server-side voice recognition that can be used in every text field on the device. This allows users to compose emails by voice alone.

According to Google, the handset also offers active noise cancellation through the use of two microphones — a first for Android phones. The metal bezel around the phone also includes a space for personalised engraved messages on the rear of the device. These messages can be set when the phone is purchased through Google's online store.

Google has introduced more graphically refined menus and widgets, along with animated wallpapers that respond to the user's touch.

The company also showed off Google Earth for Android, which lets users manipulate a virtual globe in much the same way as they can on the desktop version of the application, although voice control has now also been added. The app will launch soon in the Android Market.

Currentle smart phils and globe tel phils is negotiating with google since there is no exclusivity rights on this, in short free for all po acquiring this phone.

RoRo ship escapes disaster

ANOTHER roll-on-roll-off vessel was reported to be in distress before dawn
December 30,2009 when it ran aground off Bayubod Port in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque with 222 passengers and an undetermined number of crewmen on board.

The Philippine Coast Guard said that by seven a.m., rescue operations for MV Torrejos were already completed and no casualties or damage to property were reported. There was also no sign of oil spill.

By then , the management and crew of MV Torrejos are just waiting for high tide to free her.

Initial investigation showed that at about 2:55 a.m. yesterday, MV Torrejos, a RoRo passenger cargo vessel with 195.90 gross tons, ran aground near Buyabod Port.

MV Torrejos is owned and operated by Sta. Cruz Shipping Services Corporation and was skippered by Zaldy Galvan. It departed Talao-talao Port, Lucena City with passenger load of 222 and two rolling cargoes bound for Buyabod Port, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

While enroute to Buyabod Port, MV Torrejos encountered strong winds and current that caused the vessel to ran aground.

Upon being informed of the accident, the Coast Guard coordinated with the distressed ship’s owner which dispatched MV Torrejos’ sister ship MV Vanessa to aid the stricken vessel.
All vessels in the accident area were called on to join the rescue operation.
MV Vanessa picked up all passengers of MV Torrejos and brought them to Buyabod Port.
